While there’s no shortage of cheaply made holiday sleepwear made with who-knows-what, here at The Filtery, we like to go organic and non-toxic when possible.
That’s why I’ve done the legwork and rounded up a bunch of organic holiday pajama brands for you.
The PJ brands listed below don’t just use organic cotton, but I’ve also tried to find companies that prioritize non-toxic, eco-friendly dyes, ethical production, and other responsible practices.
This means you’re not only getting a better-quality product, but you can also feel good knowing your family’s pajamas were made with care for both people and the planet.
In this article, you’ll find a wide range of designs and patterns—whether you’re after specific characters (like Elf!), bold red stripes, or more understated solid colors.
You’ll discover PJs for Christmas, Hanukkah, and other winter-themed holiday styles.

Get ready to send out some super cute holiday cards to your friends this year. Here are the brands I’ve found that make adorable and environmentally friendly pajamas for the entire family.
Hanna Andersson
Carries: Baby Rompers (0 months – 3 years), Kids (2-16), Adults (XS-XXL), and even pets!
Hanna Andersson is one of the absolute best places to find organic matching Christmas pajamas for the whole family because they have so many different patterns to choose from. From Christmas trees and holiday plaid, to Elf and The Grinch—they have so many cute options! They make ordering super easy, too, with their Family Pajama Builder.
Most of their matching family pajamas are made out of organic cotton, but some of their adult pajama pants and other products are made out of conventional cotton and/or polyester fleece as well (so just make sure to double check before buying to make sure you’re getting what you want). It all comes with an OEKO-TEX certification, though, which means the final product has been tested to be free from a list of toxic chemicals.
Burt’s Bees
Carries: Baby Sleepers & 2-Piece Sets (NB-24 months), Kids (2T-14 years), Adults (XS-XXL), Blankets, Crib Sheets, Winter Hats, Pet Bandanas
Burt’s Bee’s GOTS certified organic cotton “FamJams” come in gender-neutral and secular patterns like “Jolly Reindeer,” “Hot Chocolate,” “Home Sweet Home,” and more.
They also have matching accessories to go with your PJs, like pet bandanas, blankets, hats, and more. Plus, Burt’s Bees has some organic Christmas pajamas available at Target, too, if you need to pick something up last minute!
L’ovedbaby
Carries: Baby Onesies (Preemie-24 months), Kids (1-10 years), Adults (XS-XL), and Pets
L’oved Baby’s super cute matching holiday family PJs come with an extra touch: matching pom-pom Santa hats! They have evergreen tree patterns, red plaid, and more. Or if patterns aren’t really your thing, they also have a collection of solid colored thermals for the whole family, too.
Everything is made out of 100% GOTS certified organic cotton.
Mightly
Carries: Baby Romper (NB-24 months), (Kids (2T-14), Adults (XS-XXL)
Mightly’s gender-neutral red and white striped matching Christmas pajamas are perfect for this year’s family photo.
They’re made in a Fair Trade Certified Factory out of 100% organic cotton (GOTS certified) and zero chemical flame retardants. Plus, they’re pre-shrunk and tagless for a safe and super comfy snug fit. These PJs even won a National Parent Product Awards prize in 2020!
In addition to these organic family jammies, Mightly also carries lots of other designs for organic cotton pajamas for kids, along with super cute graphic tees, play dresses, leggings, underwear, and more.
Nest Designs
Carries: Babies (0-24 months; onesies in various styles), Kids (12M-10Y), Adults (Men’s & Women’s, XS-XXL)
Nest Designs has a cute Christmas Collection that includes patterns like “Mistletoe & Holly,” “Candycane Lane,” “Twinkle Trees,” and more.
They are mostly made out of GOTS certified organic cotton fabric, and they come with the OEKO-TEX certification as well, which means the final product has been verified to be free from a variety of potentially toxic chemicals.
Note: for some reason the men’s PJ shirts are not organic cotton but rather 95% regular cotton and 5% spandex. They are still OEKO-TEX certified though.
Pottery Barn Kids
Carries: Nursery Pajamas (0-24 months), Kids (2T-14yrs), Adults (XS-XL)
PBK carries matching family holiday pajamas that include Mickey Mouse, Dr. Seuss’s The Grinch™, Santa Claus, and more.
Some of their holiday styles are made with organic cotton, while others are made with conventional cotton and polyester—so again, just make sure to double-check before purchasing.
Honest
Carries: Footed onesies (Newborn-24 months), 2-piece PJ sets (12 months – adult XXL), dog bandanas, and scarves
Honest carries a lot of different organic Christmas pajamas. They have 40 different prints to choose from, including stripes, pine trees, snowflakes, menorahs, and more.
They’re made out of GOTS certified organic cotton and also come with the OEKO-TEX certification (which indicates a certain level of chemical safety) and the WRAP certification (which means ethical production in terms of worker safety).
Primary

Primary’s ethically-made holiday pajamas are made out of OEKO-TEX and GOTS certified organic cotton fabric. What’s fun about Primary is that they make it super easy to mix and match, so you can pair trees with stripes, stars with solid colors, or whatever combinations you and your little ones want!
Primary also carries pajamas made out of other materials as well, so just make sure you double-check before buying to make sure you’re getting organic.
Organic Christmas Pajamas for Babies & Kids
These brands may not have matching PJs for the whole family (sorry, parents!), but they do have some super cute organic cotton Christmas pajamas for the little ones.
Finn + Emma
Carries: 2-Piece Toddler Pajamas (12M-4T)
Finn + Emma’s super cute holiday pajamas for toddlers are made ethically in India out of butter-soft GOTS certified organic cotton and non-toxic, eco-friendly dyes.
Gap
Carries: 2-Piece Sets for Babies & Kids (6 months to 5 years)
Gap carries 100% organic cotton holiday pajamas for babies and kids in a variety of patterns. Baby Yoda with a Santa hat on, Menorahs, Christmas llamas, holiday dinosaurs, and more.
L.L. Bean
Carries: Toddlers (2T-4T), Kids (4-16)
L.L. Bean carries some holiday pajamas for kids (onesies and 2-piece sets) made out of organic cotton. They do have adult holiday pajamas too, but they’re unfortunately not organic.
